Full load. I'm not sure the post office was too happy for us to be there but we decided to go big or go home. Lol! 54 packages shipped out today. 22 left to ship.

Hi everyone, all the packages are packed and heading out today. Yippee!!!! We packaged a total of 65 named soldiers packages and 20 to go to a higher up to distribute as needed. So tell your soldiers to be on the look out this week (I shipped out some last week) or next week for their package. I hope they can use all the things that we included and enjoy their snacks. Specialty items boxes will be going out soon.

Phew, today was a very productive day. Thanks to Jenna, Phyllis, and Kelly. 20 packages are ready for shipping. 5 packed last night and 15 this afternoon. Oh and there are still some amazing people out there. Today before packing boxes I headed out to a popular shopping spot for me to pick up some things that I was short of for the packages. As I unloaded my buggy, the girl behind the counter says... " you must be using coupons (sarcastically)." I was kind of confused and said no. Oh, she said, usually when someone comes in and buys so many of the same items it's because they have coupons. Nope, no coupons. I explained that I was making care packages for soldiers and my whole situation. As I finished explaining to the girl behind the counter, the lady behind me hands me a gift card and says, here use this. I was speechless while I looked at the card. All I could say was thank you so much. I had over $250. worth if stuff, the gift card was worth $25. As I was still thanking her a man came up behind me and swiped his credit card and said, "and I have the rest.". Wow! I stood there for a minute in shock. The man said, "tell them soldiers thanks." he turned around and walked away just that quick. I asked the lady behind me and the girl behind the counter, "did that just happen?" They were both in shock too I think. The girl tore off my receipt, handed it to me and with disbelief said, "have a nice day?". I looked for the man on the way out the store and never say him again. I'm still in shock. What an awesome experience.
