🐾Whew… what a busy night supporting National Night Out!

We started the evening at Monument Square, where I got to watch my mom give a speech. I also made sure to collect plenty of pets, belly rubs, and snuggles from all the kids and my law enforcement friends. (It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it! 🐶💙)

Then we headed to Waterford to celebrate the Waterford Police Department - Wisconsin - very first National Night Out, where I got to meet their very first police K9… K9 Molly! And guess what? She just happens to be my niece! 🐕💙

It was such a wonderful evening filled with smiling faces, great conversations, and amazing communities coming together to support the men, women, and K9s who protect and serve. Thank you to everyone who came out to make it such a memorable night!

Now if you’ll excuse me… this tired pup is ready for a well-deserved nap! 💤🐾

🎆🐾 The loudest night of the year can be the scariest. 🐾🎆

While many of us look forward to celebrating Independence Day, it’s important to remember that not everyone experiences fireworks the same way.

For so many pets, loud booms can cause fear, anxiety, and panic. A little planning can make a big difference.

Before the fireworks begin:
🏠 Keep your pets safely indoors.
🎶 Close windows and use the TV or calming music to help muffle the noise.
💊 Talk with your veterinarian if your pet struggles with anxiety.
❤️ Most importantly, stay close. Your comfort can mean everything during a stressful night.

🍩 BREAKING NEWS: Atticus has officially been identified as the hole reason National Donut Day exists. 🍩🐾

After a thorough investigation, Atticus determined that the best way to celebrate National Donut Day was to become the donut. We can’t argue with the results.

When he’s not modeling oversized pastries, Atticus is hard at work bringing comfort, support, and smiles to people throughout Racine County. Today, however, he’s focused on the important task of making sure no donut goes unappreciated.

🐰🐾 The Tale of Atticus… the Hop-poster Bunny 🐶

It started with a simple idea…
Atticus put on a pair of bunny ears and thought, “I’ve got this. How hard can it be to be the Easter Bunny?” 😏

He practiced his best “hop”… (looked a lot like zoomies 🐕💨)
Worked on delivering eggs… (may have tried to taste-test a few 🍬👀)
And perfected his “bunny stare”… (10/10 good boy energy)

For a moment there, he really believed he had what it takes…
Atticus: 1️⃣
Easter Bunny: 🤷‍♂️

But then… the real Easter Bunny showed up. 🐰✨

And just like that—
Atticus realized… maybe he’s not the Easter Bunny…
…but he is the best backup bunny in the business. 🐾💙

From impersonating the role to meeting the legend himself, Atticus had a full day of hopping into the Easter spirit 🐣

Proof that sometimes you don’t have to be the bunny…
you just have to believe in it (and maybe chase it a little 😉).
