Shish kebob: marinated lamb chunks grilled on skewers.
Pilaf: buttery rice cooked with toasted thin noodles.
Fasoulya: green beans stewed in a tomato sauce.
Choreg: a slightly sweet, soft braided bread, great with coffee or tea.
Boreg: a baked pastry layered with cheese, sold frozen so you can bake it fresh at home.

Residents can register to receive a free tree to plant in their yard and help grow our community’s urban forest.
