Growing older is not a reason to stop driving. Staying safe on the road starts with knowing your strengths, planning ahead, and making smart choices that help you stay confident and independent.

Safe driving tips:
✅ Plan trips during daylight hours when possible
✅ Choose familiar, well-lit routes
✅ Avoid heavy traffic, storms, or construction zones
✅ Adjust mirrors and seats for better visibility

Today, Racine County joins communities across the nation in honoring and remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

In observance of Memorial Day, Racine County offices are closed today, Monday, May 25, and will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, during normal business hours.

As we gather with family and friends, we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
