Youth Hoops Registration Is Here!

2026 Youth Hoops Basketball League registration is now underway! Get your young athlete ready for another season filled with basketball, fun and skill development.

Kindergarten–3rd Grade
Online registration is currently open! No skills testing is required.

4th–8th Grade
Registration will take place in person beginning TONIGHT and includes a short skills test. Choose one date that works best for your 4th–8th grader:

Registration & Testing Dates:
• Tuesday, August 18
• Thursday, August 20
• Monday, August 24
• Wednesday, August 26

Time: 4:30–7:00 p.m.
Location: Community Center at Douglas Park (2221 Douglas Ave., Racine, WI 53402)

Participants must be present for testing and should wear tennis shoes.

Registration Fees
Fees include a Youth Hoops T-shirt.
• Kindergarten–Grade 4: $55 resident / $80 non-resident
• Grades 5–8: $65 resident / $95 non-resident

Please note: The resident rate is available to City of Racine residents only. Residency will be verified through the City of Racine GIS system at registration.

Payment: Cash or Visa/Mastercard debit or credit cards are accepted. Apple Pay and other mobile payment options are not accepted.

Today we wrapped up another year of Summer Playgrounds!

We want to congratulate our Park of the Year winners from each program for their hard work, creativity, and positive attitudes throughout the summer. Additionally, we are very proud of all of our playground staff for making this another summer to remember!

Yesterday, our Traditional Playgrounds began to wrap up an incredible summer with a Playground Olympics at Douglas Park! All six parks came together for a day filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and plenty of fun.
