Teen Institute
A youth leadership conference which promotes drug-free, healthy life styles through clarifying values, encouraging positive attitudes, and increasing self-esteem

Transition
5th grade students worked with trained high school staff in this program designed to help youth make a successful transition into middle school. Bully Prevention Program
Bully Prevention is a way for the Teen Peers to reach out to other students and say we are your allies against bullying and to inspire others to join the fight against bullying. Teen Peers do this by performing an original play, showing videos on bullying, and making raps and choreography in a 70 minute presentation. Be the Change Club
At this program, you will be with middle school students helping with their homework, playing games with them, and playing sports with them. You are there to be a good role model to the students, and to help them make good decisions. FAST (Families and School Together)
A family based program designed to help families develop closer parent to child bonds within their household. FACT (Fighting Against Cooperate Tobacco)
A program to fight against tobacco companies targeting youth Smart and Healthy Kids

The Youth Advisory Council popped off!

This council came together and created an event for the youth of Racine. Their goal was to spread awareness on mental health/illness and substance use prevention by painting supportive quotes or facts on the rocks to spread around the community. What’s even cooler is Focus On Community is a substance use prevention agency!

We are beyond proud of these teens and are excited to see what other activities they come up with!
