We are proud to recognize Tabak Law LLC as the sole corporate sponsor of the 2026 Racine County Veterans Stand Down.

Tabak Law has long been a strong supporter of veterans and the veteran community, and we are fortunate to have built a great working relationship with their team over the years. Their generous support of this yearโ€™s Stand Down helps us bring together veterans, service organizations, and dozens of community resources under one roof.

Their commitment extends well beyond this event, and we truly appreciate everything they do to support those who have served.

Thank you, Tabak Law, for continuing to stand with Racine County veterans.

This is a reminder to veteransโ€ฆyou should NEVER pay for initial claims, increases or even appeals. Please use your free resources first! In Wisconsin we are fortunate that every county has a CVSO office. Reach out to your local, accredited, CVSO for assistance!

Great news!!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Starting July 31, 2026, VA is making it easier for Veterans whose records were damaged or destroyed in the 1973 National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) fire.

Instead of multiple separate requests, VA will now send one comprehensive packet with two forms at the start of the claims process:

NA Form 13055 (Request for Information Needed to Reconstruct Medical Data):https://www.archives.gov/files/st-louis/military-personnel/na-13055-info-2-reconstruct-medical-data.pdf

NA Form 13075 (Questionnaire About Military Service):https://www.archives.gov/files/veterans/military-service-records/na-13075-questionnaire-about-military-service.pdf

When records are confirmed or reasonably presumed destroyed in the fire, claims processors may apply a sympathetic evidentiary standard. Meaning fewer duplicate requests and faster, more predictable timelines for Veterans.

Questions about how this affects your claim? Reach out, we're here to help.
