This week, connection looks a little different for everyone—and that’s exactly the point.
It can mean seeing what a child can create with a table full of LEGOs. Spending a quiet hour with people who understand grief. Or settling in for an evening of live blues in downtown Pulaski. If you're looking for something to do this week in the NRV, check out these events that caught our eye -

For anyone navigating grief, this free monthly drop-in gathering offers a relaxed space to connect with others who understand. No pressure or expectations—just room to show up as you are.
✏️ LEGO CLUB

Radford Public Library · 30 W. Main Street, Radford
Children ages 3 and older are invited to build, imagine, and create during a free-play LEGO session at the library.
🎶 FIRST FRIDAY LISTENING ROOM
Friday, September 4 · Doors open at 5 PM · Music 6–8 PM
Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley · 21 W. Main Street, Pulaski
Enjoy an evening of live blues with Holland, Holland & Hanes. Entry is free, with a $5 suggested donation. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
