Join us tonight, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the children's area for an Evening Family Storytime at 6:30PM - 7:00PM. This storytime is intended for older children (5 yrs +), and ALL ages are welcome! RPL staff Dave will read stories aloud about the environment, sustainability, and more. We'll have a couple of Girl Scout guests with us to lead an upcycled craft. Snacks provided!

Cookbook, which celebrates beautiful, simple, and seasonal cooking with 85 recipes adapted from India and Sri Lanka’s best family spice farms, on Tuesday, June 23rd at 2 PM via digital live-stream in partnership with Radford Public Library.

Tribal Community Affairs Director Ashes Ayita Wolf is at RPL today, Saturday, 6/20/26 at 2:00 to present on the Central Appalachian Cherokee Tribe! This program is for adults and older children. There will be a brief slide presentation and time for hands-on learning about some of the artifacts that Ashes has on display, and we will actively use tools to grind meal and explore some of the toys children played with. As we progress through the Summer Reading Program, we continue to Unearth Stories! Please come join us and welcome Ashes!
