So I am going to stand on my soap box this morning. Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day always on January 27. Instead of a candle, I am choosing this photo to remind people how severe humanity was lost at that time. We throw around n**i, gestapo and hi**er so cavalier nowadays, we truly forget the depravity and horror of that era. Both political sides do it to each other and I wish they would stop. Those 3 names are tied to the attempted extermination of the jewish people! EXTERMINATION! When we say never again this is what Jews are referring to. I beg of everyone to go visit a Holocaust Museum or check them out online, and see the crates of eyeglasses, and the shoes, wedding bands and the photos of the gas chambers and the dead bodies. It will bend your soul!
Tonight our City Council will read a proclamation to Holocaust Remembrance Day, which I am grateful for and thank them, and I hope some of you will reflect on this picture and what this day means to the Jewish people! NEVER AGAIN!k
