Yesterday, the Philadelphia Phillies and King Swings surprised one of our onsite family participants with an incredible backyard makeover, complete with a full-sized swing set, Hawaiian-themed fire pit, fresh landscaping, a hammock, and more!

A special thank you to King Swings and the Phillies, including the always-awesome Philly Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls, Mickey Morandini, Milt Thompson, and Dickie Noles, for helping make this surprise truly unforgettable.

As we celebrate 25 years of Peter’s Place, we're reflecting on the inspiration behind our One Piece. One Story. campaign. ⭐💚

This mosaic, which hangs outside of the group rooms at our Radnor center, was created in 2003 by children participating in our grief support groups. Each child designed a unique piece, and together those pieces formed something beautiful, strong, and whole.

More than 20 years later, the mosaic remains a powerful reminder that every story matters. Each child, family, volunteer, donor, staff member, and supporter has contributed to the story of Peter’s Place and helped shape the community we are today.

Help us raise $100,000 by filling each piece of our anniversary mosaic and honoring the stories that shape the Peter’s Place community. Donate now:

The Undercover Quilters stopped by and donated 20 handmade quilts for the children and families we serve. These beautiful quilts provide comfort, warmth, and a reminder that no one has to navigate grief alone.

We are so grateful for their generosity and can’t wait to share these special gifts with families when our next program year begins. ⭐️💚

The 2025–2026 Onsite Program Year concluded last week with children, teens, and caregivers coming together to design frames to hold memories honoring their person who died.

The week also included a very special potluck gathering in our Healing Garden for our teen group honoring three graduating seniors and the end of the group year.

These final group days provided an opportunity for everyone to reflect on their grief journeys, celebrate connections made throughout the year, and leave with a reminder that even as groups end, the support and care of Peter’s Place is always here for them. ⭐️💚

Today, we officially launch our One Piece. One Story. campaign in celebration of 25 years of Peter’s Place. From now through June 30, we are working to raise $100,000 to ensure children, teens, and families who are grieving continue receiving grief support services at no cost to them.

Together, we can honor our past and shape our future by ensuring children, teens, and families continue receiving grief support when they need it most. Help us fill our logo mosaic, one piece at a time, and continue the story of Peter’s Place. ⭐💚 https://app.etapestry.com/onlineforms/PetersPlace/onlinegiving-1.html
