🚧 SUMMER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧

Big things are happening in Rainier School District this summer! All three of our school buildings are officially under construction to get ready for the upcoming school year.

Because our campuses are active work zones, physical building access is restricted and closed to the public for safety reasons.

But don't worry—we are still here to help! The District Office is operating all summer long.

📧 Email Staff Members: Reach out directly to your school's teachers or staff via email for specific inquiries.

The Rotary Club of Yelm Summer Food Program kicks off TODAY at 10am!

Every Tuesday for 10 weeks, food bags will be distributed at four locations including next to the Rainier School District Office.

☀️ Our 10th Annual Summer Lunch Program, 10 Weeks of Summer, begins June 16th and runs through September 8th!

Each week, we’ll be at our distribution sites from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and we’re excited to return to the same locations again this year.
• Nisqually Pines Office
• Rainier - near the school admin office
• Clearwood at the front gate near the office
• Yelm City Park - corner of Mosman & 1st

This program is here to support children under 18 who receive free or reduced-price meals during the school year, helping make sure they have access to food throughout the summer. 💛

🎉 We made it, Rainier! Tomorrow is officially the last day of the school year! 🎉

Please remember that tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th, is an early release day for all students.

Here is the dismissal schedule to help you plan your morning:

🕒 Dismissal Times:

Elementary School: 11:35 AM

Middle & High School: 11:45 AM

📌 A few quick reminders before summer starts:

Lost & Found: Remind your students to check for any missing jackets, water bottles, or lunchboxes before they head out.

Medications: Parents, please remember to pick up any student medications from the health room before the end of the day tomorrow.

Last week, our incredible students—from elementary all the way through high school—headed over to Yelm High School for an unforgettable day.

There were smiles, high-fives, and so much determination on display. We are endlessly proud of our champions, and so grateful to Yelm for hosting such a wonderful event. Thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, and cheered our students on!
