According to Data USA, approximately 875,000 North Carolinians use Spanish as their primary language at home. El Futuro, a community partner of the ABC Commission, provides culturally responsive mental health and substance use services to individuals and families in an environment of healing and hope, specializing in serving Spanish-speaking communities.
As part of National Alcohol Awareness Month, El Futuro will offer a free webinar, entirely in Spanish, tomorrow (April 30) at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom and Facebook (link to register in comments). The webinar will discuss the relationship between alcohol and mental health, the impact of alcohol on academic performance, and provide clear, practical, and culturally relevant information that attendees can apply at home.
