Our K9s all share spring birthdays, so we’re throwing a celebration for Maverick, Perdy, Byrd and Luke! Stop by to say “hi” to our K9s, meet our horses, play lawn games and de-stress with activities from Prevention Services and Wellness and Recreation. We hope to see you there!

Last week we celebrated National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, a time to recognize and celebrate our telecommunications team who work around the clock to keep our campus safe. The NC State Police Department would like to thank our amazing team for their dedication, care and hard work. Telecommunicators are often the first point of contact during an emergency, and their compassion, quick thinking and rapid responses are crucial to public safety. Throughout the week, we shared a little bit about some of our outstanding telecommunicators to show our appreciation. Please join us in thanking them for all they do to keep our campus safe!

We were proud to support the Krispy Kreme Challenge as runners took to the streets for this fun campus tradition! 🍩🏃‍♀️

Officers helped with traffic control and safety along the route to keep participants and spectators safe.

Great conversations, warm coffee, and strong partnerships ☕🐾

We had a wonderful time connecting with students and staff during Coffee with a Cop alongside NC State University Housing. Events like this help strengthen relationships, build trust, and create a safer, more connected campus community.

Strong partnerships help keep the Wolfpack safe—especially when severe weather is on the way. 🌧️🌪️

For decades, NC State University and the National Weather Service have worked side by side, with the NWS calling Centennial Campus home since the 1990s. This close relationship allows for timely communication, shared expertise, and real-time coordination when weather conditions change quickly.

As winter weather moves through the area, we’re asking the Wolfpack community to take extra precautions. Limit non-essential travel when possible, slow down if you must be on the roads, and watch for icy spots that can lead to slips and falls.
