The Women's Center would like to thank all our volunteers who came out to Trophy Brewing Five Points for our Volunteer Social this Tuesday! We had a lovely time with all our volunteers this enjoying locally sourced food and sharing the future plans of our organization. ✨Client Spotlight: Mack
Mack came to the Women's Center truggling with homelessness and the toll it takes on one's mental health. At the Women's Center they found the support they needed as they battled grief from losing a friend. When asked where they’d be without the Women’s Center, Mack replied, “I’ll be honest, if I was out there on my own, I’d be dead.” Mack has made progress with the help of the Women's Center and is now enrolled in college and hopes to find a job in medical coding once they graduate.

✨️ Shout Out to our Teen Leadership Board ✨️
Thanks to all of the members who came out this Sunday evening for a special meeting, followed by serving dinner at our Drop-In Overnight Shelter. Participants on the Teen Board are local high school students who commit to learning more about the Women's Center at monthly meetings and through creating school or community based service projects to promote the support of single women experiencing homelessness.

Client Spotlight: Melissa
Sometimes, having a safe place to go can make all the difference.
Melissa (name changed) came to the Women’s Center because she can enjoy meals, take a shower, access the clothing closet, participate in Bible study, and take advantage of other resources throughout the day. But when asked what she appreciates most about the Center, her answer was heartfelt: “The fact that they care.” ❤️
Melissa's story reminds us that support is about more than meeting basic needs. It’s also about showing compassion, creating a welcoming community, and helping women take steps toward their goals.
We are so grateful to Melissa for opening up and sharing her experience! And to our donors, volunteers, churches, and community partners who help make these services possible, thank you for being part of this mission. 🫶
