The BMMES Staff and PTO are ready to step in to a new year of adventure! Your PTO Hospitality arranged a Welcome to the Museum breakfast for the staff’s first day back! We can continue supporting our staff by helping with Kindergarten’s staggered entry. Volunteers for this event welcome new Kindergarteners and their Family in the Media Center and help guide students to a classroom for fun! This allows teachers to focus on meeting our newest Dinos! Our Volunteer Hub has the sign-up link (in profile). We can’t wait to see our community this Friday at Meet the Teacher!

It’s time to start planning! While we try to always communicate PTO dates, events and information to the entire school, the best way to ensure receiving all information and opportunities is signing up for a membership. Dues not in your budget this month? No problem. We also have free (“Opt Out”) memberships available for individuals and staff members. **Also, Spirit Rock sign-up goes live this Sunday at 8am. It’s the last week of school and we cannot say the above message enough! 🎁 Families, if you want to participate in the collective gift crowd please find the link in our profile. The event closes on the last day of school (Thursday) at 12pm.

Rising K through 5th graders—find the supply kit link in our profile to purchase a supply kit for the next school year! Our Third Grade team is revamping their supply list and will not participate this year. The PTO earns $5 for every kit sold. Purchase by July 1! Kits will be delivered to Brooks in August.

Science Olympiad ended with a showcase and we couldn’t be more proud! This club for 4th and 5th grade students has been fun while students are forging new concepts! Thank you to our Leader Kerry and parent volunteers!

Volunteers needed to guide students, ensure they’re completing their wish-list assignment and entering the contest, “Guess How Many?” We also may need help to tame a few ‘squirrels’ along the way as books may move from one table to the next!
