The Reentry Team enjoyed another packed house at the Wake Resource Exchange! No single service provider can provide 100% of what reentry clients need. The goal was for everyone to learn what the other has to offer to maximize outcomes for all men and women post-incarceration. Especially when it comes to aspects of mental health that service providers should understand to help clients better acclimate to life after jail or prison. We were also excited to welcome NC's First Lady and unwavering reentry advocate, Anna Stein! If you or someone you know could use reentry services, visit NCWorks Career Center - Capital Area or https://www.wakelrc.org/

Working with Wake Local Reentry Council is changing lives! If you, someone you know, or your organization want to learn about the ecosystem in Wake County, this is a can't-miss event! Wake County Government

🚨 If you missed us last year, we’re doing it again! 🚨

Join us on April 24, 10 AM – 2 PM at the Wake Reentry Resource Exchange for a day of learning, networking, and impact!

Last year, 37 vendors and 144 attendees came together to share resources, build connections, and support justice-involved youth and adults. This year promises to be even better!

Here's what we're planning...

Morning Panel: Invisible Barriers: Exploring Post Incarceration Syndrome and Stress Responses – Reentry experts with lived experience will lead a discussion on the emotional, mental, and social challenges individuals face after incarceration.

Afternoon Networking: Engage with 35–40 organizations serving adults, youth, and families impacted by the criminal justice system. Build connections, share resources, and strengthen your network.

Who Should Attend: Service providers, community organizations, faith groups, and anyone serving the reentry population.

We love supporting entrepreneurs. The Pathway to program (PTE) held its second networking event to give participants an opportunity to share their journeys, learn from one another, and showcase their products. When entrepreneurs have access to the right connections, resources, and coaching, they’re better positioned to grow sustainable businesses and create opportunity for others! Interested in PTE? Many of these faces job seekers never see. They're managing programs for adults and youth, overseeing contracts and budgets, applying for grants, overseeing communications, helping businesses connect with talent resources, performing speaking engagements, and so much more. It's a lot of work! So we ended the year celebrating accomplishments, appreciating one another, and planning to go into 2026 with renewed energy and focus! How does your organization show appreciation?
