Steel looks incredible… until fire hits it.

At just 538°C, steel loses about 50% of its strength - often in just minutes during a real fire.
That’s where intumescent coatings become one of the smartest solutions for protecting exposed steel.
In normal conditions it’s a thin, elegant layer that keeps the architectural look. But at 200-250°C it activates, expanding 25-50 times and forming a thick insulating char that shields the steel from overheating.
