This Friday May 1, families, educators, and community members are gathering in Raleigh for a rally to stand up for our public schools. It’s happening downtown (Halifax Mall) and it’s all about one simple idea: our kids deserve better.

👟 Bring your kids if you want them to see democracy in action
🎒 Bring your signs (or just your enthusiasm - we accept both)
❤️ Wear red if you can

Thousands of people across North Carolina are coming together to support our teachers, students, and public education. Honestly, it’s a great chance to show our kids what it looks like to stand up for what matters.

Will there be walking? Yes.
Will there be crowds? Also yes.
Will your kids remember that you showed up for them and their teachers? Absolutely.

Make plans to meet up with all your friends that believe our kids and staff deserve better. Let’s show up loud and proud 📣

Our 2026 Book Exchange has come to an end.
The Reading Challenge will end Monday morning. Winners will be announced Monday afternoon.
Thank you to Wake Up and Read , Wake County PTA Council, Dog-Eared Books, Mr. Mike's Used Books, and our Falcon Families for your generous donations of books, time, and funds to support literacy and our students' love of books.
During the past 5 school days, each student was able to select 2 books per day to build their home library. Monetary donations to our literacy fund will be used to purchase quality books for our media center. Donations will continue to be accepted at:

All Wake County Public School System schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 2, due to inclement weather. Monday will be a teacher workday for staff.

Fuller has THREE themes selected in the Top 8 for the 2026 NC Science Olympiad Theme Competition! 🔬🎉

Here’s what’s next:
• NCSO selected the top 8 based on creativity, originality, and mission fit.
• These themes will compete in a bracket-style vote on Instagram Stories.
