Your statewide SNCAE Eboard met this past weekend to really get to know each other, plan the Fall Leadership Conference, learn about their leadership styles and focused on making the union better by fight for paid student teaching this year! We want your chapters to get involved as well, so be on the lookout for info coming to your chapter officers. We hope to see you at the Fall Leadership Conference on Oct. 23-24!

What’s SNCAE been up to over the Summer?!?! Check out our photo dump! Team leads for our Paid Student Teaching Campaign attended the NEA Campaign Lab training in New Orleans in May. They learned how to get more aspiring educators engaged throughout the state this upcoming school year. The last week of June, students from Barton, ECU, FSU, NCAT, WCU, and WSSU attended the NEA Aspiring Educator Conference in Denver, CO.

As part of our Beautification Mission for Outreach to Teach, we are encouraging conference participants to create and bring Kindness Rocks to one very special Elementary School! 🎨🪨

Kindness Rocks are a simple but powerful way to spread positivity. By painting rocks with encouraging words, affirmations, or uplifting designs, we can help brighten the school environment and leave meaningful reminders for students that they are valued and supported.
