When people talk about the pandemic, I often hear about the new hobbies they picked up.
Some people learned to bake sourdough. I was pregnant with my third child.
A few years later, I finally tried baking sourdough myself.
Here’s what I learned: sourdough starter doesn’t grow on its own. You have to feed it. The same is true for political campaigns.
For months, we’ve been doing the quiet work—talking with voters, building relationships, and laying the groundwork for November 2026.
But on June 30, we have to show what we’ve built. That’s when we file our second-quarter fundraising report. It’s the most important benchmark of this campaign so far, and it will be public. People will be looking at whether this campaign is growing and whether we have the support to compete.
That’s why I’m asking for your help today.
If you’re able, will you chip in $10, $25, or $50 before June 30?

Over the next month, I’ll be focused on one goal: posting the strongest fundraising report possible before June 30.

Thank you for helping this one grow.
