GREAT turn out today for our consecutive hike at Green Hills County Park! A little chilly and fun was had by all...even after a 3.5 mile hike, some had enough energy to hit the playground!!!

We were supposed to hike the DeHart Botanical Gardens but the gates were locked :-( A Scout always has a PlanB so...we drove over to the Wake Forest Reservoir!

Was a great day for a 3.8 mile hike with many new scouts joining us!!! Unbelievable turnout and the weather was perfect!!!

Congratulations to Allen for reaching his 50 mile mark and looking forward to carving your stave :-)

It was a beautiful day for a hike but my heart dropped when I saw the sign at the entrance...all trails CLOSED! Everything was wet or flooded from all the recent rain.

Well you know scouts are adaptable and we've NEVER canceled a hike so, instead of the trails we hiked the road...though one short trail was still open! :-)

Congrats to Olivia for reaching 25 miles, Daniel for reaching his 50 and Christian for passing 100 miles!!!! AWESOME
