There are many ways to help nourish our neighbors with food and compassion. This month, we’re highlighting three ways you can take action right here in our community:

🚗 VOLUNTEER — Give your time in a meaningful way! With a variety of opportunities to get involved, there’s a place for you at Nourish Up. We currently have an immediate need for Grocery Home Delivery Drivers and Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers.

🫐 DONATE — Your generosity helps put nutritious food into the homes and on the tables of our neighbors through our network of food pantries and Meals on Wheels program.

📣 ADVOCATE — Use your voice to help raise awareness about hunger in our community. Share Nourish Up’s work and impact with your friends, family and networks, and encourage others to take action.

Activate Good
Volunteers will honor those lost on 9/11 during the afternoon shift by learning about local causes, serving at hands-on project stations, and coming together in a spirit of unity and reflection.

Volunteers (18+) will garden, pick up trash, paint walls, remove marks, and help organize and distribute inventory to beautify and support Walnut Creek Elementary School.

Volunteers, we need YOU! ⭐

Our Community Cookout is happening this Friday, 9/11, and we’re looking for more TABLE volunteers to help make the evening fun, welcoming, and full of community spirit! Lend a hand, enjoy the festivities before or after your shift, and connect with others who love TABLE, too.

There are lots of ways to help, including:

🟠Set Up - 2 spots: 3:30 PM — 5:00 PM
🟠Activity Station Attendant - 4 spots: 4:30 PM—7:00 PM
Stations include bubble station attendants, bouncy house station attendants, and more!
🟠Grill Chef - 1 spot: 4:00 PM—6:30 PM
🟠Clean Up - 7 spots: 6:45 PM—7:45 PM

Come volunteer, have some fun, and help us make this event a great one!

We need your help this Thursday! ❤️

Every week, hundreds of families come to Hope Street for food, and our check-in volunteers are an important part of making the distribution run smoothly.

We’re especially in need of volunteers to help with check-in this Thursday. You’ll help welcome families, assist with the check-in process, and keep things moving so our team can serve as many neighbors as possible.

No experience is needed—we’ll show you what to do. If you have a few hours to give, we would love to have you serve with us.
