Flush McCrory & the GOP Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee was created to encourage North Carolina citizens to vote against Governor Pat McCrory and all Republican candidates in the election on November 8, 2016. The list of bad legislation passed by the NC General Assembly and signed into law by the governor over the past three years is long and regressive, including:
tax cuts for
the wealthy and corporations at the expense of the middle class, education and human services;
voter suppression;
restricting women’s health care;
expansion of charter schools and school vouchers;
reduced funding for public school teachers and students;
elimination of regulations that protect the environment;
and more. House Bill 2 is only the most recent piece of outrageous legislation! In addition, the governor and General Assembly refuse to expand Medicaid. Governor McCrory and the Republican majority in the NC General Assembly, along with Lt. Governor Dan Forest and Commissioner of Labor Cherie Berry, are destroying North Carolina. US Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis, and the Republican members of US House of Representatives have served North Carolina no better. All Republicans should be defeated in the next election! Flush McCrory & the GOP IE PAC is creating the yard sign pictured above for distribution across North Carolina to express disgust with the governor and the GOP, and to encourage voter turnout on November 8.
