Catholic Parish Outreach Groceries available to whoever needs them every 30 days. CPO, a Catholic Charities program, is celebrating 43 years of serving the triangle community!

We provide emergency food assistance and, when possible, small children's clothing and baby items, such as formula and diapers. In fiscal year 2019
3.5 paid staff and
1,800 volunteers distributed
2,900,000+ pounds of groceries to residents of Wake, Franklin, and Johnston counties.

A community within the City of Raleigh reached out to CPO requesting help with Back-To-School supplies. CPO’s volunteers answered the call with a school supply donation drive. Volunteers are looking forward to delivering the supplies to the students, so they can “shop” for what is needed for a successful start of the school year.

In response to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ invitation for Catholics to mark America’s 250th anniversary through prayer and works of mercy, Catholic Charities is proud to share our 250 Corporal Works of Mercy Initiative.

Across central and eastern North Carolina, our volunteers help bring the Corporal Works of Mercy to life every day by sharing healthy groceries, supporting neighbors in crisis, welcoming those seeking safety, and offering hope when it is needed most.
