The Young Farmers and Ranchers is a group for people from ages 18-35 with a shared interest in agriculture. We promote agriculture through leadership activities, political lobbying, and community service. This group offers invaluable networking opportunities with other YF&R members from across the state of North Carolina as well as the United States. We are dedicated to ensuring the continued success of United States agriculture, starting in Wake County.

Last Wednesday-Friday, our committee members, in addition to help from the Wake County Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee, hosted a table at NC State University Farm Animal Days. This event, which welcomes over 10,000 visitors, is a unique opportunity for children to see and touch farm animals and learn about agriculture! 🐄🐖🐑🐥

We'll hear from guest speakers representing NC State Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering and NC Agromedicine Institute.

A new year means new adventures! We had a lot to celebrate at our January meeting. Kim Webb, Agriculture Extension Agent, NC Cooperative Extension- Wake County Center, joined us to discuss opportunities with Extension.
