Sometimes, the path to a calling isn’t a straight line.

Morgan Quintanilla first considered nursing in high school, then pursued business management and spent six years in leadership with Chick-fil-A. After becoming a mother to premature twins and spending 65 days beside her daughter Leah in the NICU at ECU Health Maynard Children’s Hospital, Morgan found her way back to nursing.

Today, she’s an RN in the same NICU where her daughters received care — supporting families through experiences she knows firsthand.

ā€œI can let other parents know that I’m both a NICU mom and a NICU nurse,ā€ Morgan said.

Her story is a powerful reminder that sometimes, the path to where you’re meant to be takes unexpected turns. Read more about Morgan’s journey: https://bit.ly/4i3b91T
