The ABLE Savings Plans Network of NAST is partnering with the National Association of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) on an internal educational training for ASPN and NAST members. NOSSCR is the leading association for attorneys and advocates who represent Social Security Disability (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claimants throughout their adjudicative process.

Their experts will help provide background on SSA’s process for SSI/SSDI, in-depth details related to the benefits, AND how ABLE accounts help people with disabilities keep the benefits that they need, even when they go to work!

🌟 Employers: Support Your Employees and Their Families with NC ABLE 🌟

Did you know you can offer the NC ABLE Program as part of your workplace benefits—no matter where your employees live or work?

NC ABLE empowers eligible individuals with disabilities to save and invest for the future without losing access to important public supports. It’s available to people across the United States, not just North Carolina.

Savings do not count toward asset limits for Medicaid, SSI, FAFSA, HUD, or SNAP

Funds can be used for current or future disability‑related expenses

You don’t need to be receiving public benefits to open an account

Families can build financial security with confidence

By adding NC ABLE to your optional benefits, you’re giving employees and their loved ones a meaningful tool to achieve a better life experience.

🌐 Interested in partnering with us to bring NC ABLE to your workplace? We’re here to help you get started.
