Thank you so much to Erica Payne of the for acting as our MC of the evening. Democrats are bringing so much energy to this election cycle we have high hopes! But everyone must do their part- donate, volunteer, vote, and share your support on social media.

We were so lucky to have Special guests Gene Nichol, and , as well as many of our endorsed candidates and alumni. It was truly a memorable evening.

We are energized by the tremendous show of support at our fall fundraiser. With a stellar line up of special guests , , .brown.adcock we had over 60 people come out to support ’s run for NC Senate District 11!

James Gailliard is a Now or Never NC alumni who represented the 25th district including most of Nash County. During his time in the General Assembly, he helped pass bipartisan legislation on education, healthcare, criminal justice reform, and economic development.

We are so grateful to our generous hosts Carol Vatz and and everyone who has donated their time and money to this important cause.

Join us at to kickstart the 2026 election cycle with Representative Cynthia Ball, Deputy Democratic Leader in the NC House and Evonne Hopkins, candidate for NC House District 35 (northern Wake County) in 2026.

Cynthia Ball is a member of our Class of 2016. She’s in her fifth term in the NC House where she’s served in various impactful capacities, including Freshman Democratic Chair, Democratic Whip, Co-Chair of the House Democratic Caucus Campaign, and Vice Chair of Education Appropriations Shadow Committee. Currently, she serves in one of the four senior Caucus leadership positions as Democratic Conference Chair.

Evonne Hopkins owns and operates a North Raleigh-based family law practice. She and her husband have two children who attend local public schools. A 2024 Now or Never NC endorsed candidate, she’s already announced her candidacy for 2026. While she came very close last year, she’s started campaigning even earlier this cycle and is a top prospect to flip her northern Wake County district.
