⛈️LIGHTNING SAFETY WEEK:
With more summer storms popping up across North Carolina, now is the time to be prepared!
⚡ When thunder roars, go indoors. If you can hear thunder, you're close enough to be struck by lightning. Wait at least 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder before heading back outside.
Lightning can also cause significant property damage. Take a few minutes to review your homeowners or renters insurance coverage, document your belongings with photos or video, and know what's covered before severe weather strikes.
