FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Ralls Independent School District, we are pleased to announce Scott Lucas as the Lone Finalist for the Superintendent of Schools position.With more than three decades of experience in Texas public education, Scott Lucas brings a proven record of leadership and service. His professional experience includes roles as a teacher/coach, a campus principal at various levels, chief financial officer, and superintendent of schools, providing a comprehensive understanding of instructional leadership and district operations within a school system.

In accordance with Texas law, the Ralls Independent School District Board of Trustees must observe a 21-day waiting period before taking final action to appoint the superintendent.

RALLS ISD TRANSFER APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2026-2027 NOW BEING ACCEPTED

Both current and new transfer students must complete an individual application to transfer to Ralls ISD. Applications can be picked up at the Ralls ISD Administration Building (1082 4th Street) Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
