I’m proud to endorse for LD12! Christy is the true definition of a badass. She’s a hardworking, vibrant human being who I know will go to bat for the people of Nebraska. Her experience as a working class nurse shows that she is in touch with the reality of the people, which is desperately needed in all facets of our government. “But Whitney, why are you still asking for campaign donations?”

I’m not spending any more money on personal promotion. My goal is to get people out to the polls to vote for all the amazing women and POC on the ballot. With any further donations, I will be coordinating “Get Out the Vote” efforts to encourage people to register and vote by November 3rd.

First, I’ll be using handwritten postcards to reach my constituents by mail. Second, I am hoping to raise enough money to fund some bilingual canvassers to work on voter turnout in South Omaha, which has some of the lowest voter turnout in the state. It is obvious that politicians have been neglecting this community, and I want to put my money where my mouth is.

Been a little quiet on the Instagram front lately because I have been driving to WASHINGTON! I will be spending the summer and part of early fall serving the National Park Service at Mt. Rainier. That doesn’t mean the work back home stops, though! And the results are in!

This campaign was truly by and for the people. I’m a first-time candidate. A teacher, union member, grad student, renter, working class girl. My average campaign donation was $24. No big money, no big name, just big ideas. Thank you so much for your trust, Omaha. It means the world to me.
