Happy Father’s Day from the Ramer Fire & Rescue Department! Today, Sunday, June 21, 2026, we take a moment to celebrate the extraordinary dads in our community and within our own ranks.
Being a father is a tremendous honor and responsibility. For our firefighters, this calling extends beyond their own front doors. We want to explicitly highlight the unique dedication of our personnel, who must constantly balance service to their own families with the unwavering commitment to our fire department family and the community we serve.
To the fathers who serve here: thank you for the countless times you’ve had to answer the call, often stepping away from moments with your children or spouses to protect others. We recognize the quiet sacrifices your families make, and we are grateful for your strength and your example of service.
We also celebrate the incredible bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that make our department a true second family. To the dads who mentor new members, support their teammates, and create a family atmosphere even in challenging times—you are the backbone of our 'other' family.
Wishing all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures a joyful and safe day surrounded by love. Happy Father’s Day!
