Hanson Elementary – Community Update

Hanson Elementary was safely evacuated today due to a nearby brush fire and smoke in the area. All students and staff are safe and have been relocated to the PAC at Olive Peirce Middle School.

We are grateful to share that there is no current emergency and forward progress of the fire has stopped.

Thank you to our families, staff, and community partners for your patience, care, and support during this time.

Congratulations to our RUSD students recognized in the 35th Annual North County Water Agencies Water Awareness Poster Contest! 💧🎨

This year’s theme, “Love Water, Save Water,” inspired fourth graders to creatively highlight the importance of water conservation. We are proud to share that three Ramona students were selected as finalists and will be featured in the NCWA 2027 Calendar.

At the May 14, 2026 Regular Board Meeting, RUSD proudly recognized our 2025–26 Retirees, Employees of the Year, Administrator of the Year, graduating valedictorians, and student board members.

We are deeply grateful for the dedication, leadership, and lasting impact these outstanding individuals have made across our schools and district. Their commitment to excellence continues to make a difference throughout the Ramona community.

On April 28, over 30 RHS students participated in the Theatre Arts Talent Showcase. The show featured the debut performance from the new “Bulldogs on Broadway” Theatre Arts Club, an original scene from the Theatre Arts 2 class, a puppet show, live music, and more!
