There is a better way than throw-away. Join the San Diego Fixit Clinic at the Ramona Community Library on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Bring the whole family and learn to fix your stuff together. Specialty tools and guidance will be provided to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. Learn how to:

• Fix broken appliances and gadgets

• Repair road and mountain bikes

• Mend your favorite outfit

This event is free to the public Be sure to register early if you would like help getting an item repaired:

Pre-registered guests receive priority, and repairs are matched to the appropriate fixer. Wait times may vary.

Desert Crossing returns to the Ramona Community Library (1275 Main St.) this Saturday, July 11, from 1:00–2:00 PM!

Enjoy live performances by Michael J. Dwyer & Rose Darrough with protest songs by Woody Guthrie, Billie Holiday, Pete Seeger, Merle Travis, John Prine, David Crosby, Graham Nash, and more.

This event is presented and funded by the Friends of the Ramona Library and is free to attend; no RSVP required. It has been one of our most popular events in the past, so you may want to arrive early to get a good seat.

Tweens & teens (ages 10–18): don’t miss SD Nights next Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 3:30 to 6:00 PM! ⚽👾🕹️ It’s happening here at the Ramona Library!

SD Nights (“San Diego/Safe Destination Nights”) is a FREE County of San Diego Parks & Recreation program that gives teens safe after-school places to hang out during key hours.

Activities vary each month, like laser tag, bubble soccer, gaming trucks, poetry nights, and more. Free meals are provided to participants. Questions? Call us at 760-788-5270.
