2 cats found at Ramsey state park. One kitten and one older male. Both have the same coloring. Both are very friendly so we are pretty sure they were dumped. They are free to a good home. Contact Niki at the site office 618-423-2215.

Our sunflower fields are blooming and looking great. Dove season starts on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
We will hold drawings Sept. 1-5 at 6:05am and allow 30 hunters each day. Hunters can sign up for our drawings starting at 5:30am. We have three sunflower fields this year. Hunting hours at Ramsey Lake are sunrise to 11:30am the first 5 days of the season. All hunters must use shot that is non-toxic such as steel, # 6 size or smaller.

We have cabin available to rent at Ramsey Lake. It sleeps 6 has A/C and is close to our shower house. You can rent the cabin on reserveamerica.com for $45 a night.

2020 Free Fishing Days are June 19 – 22

The annual Illinois Free Fishing Days celebration is slated for June 19 – 22, once again coinciding with Father's Day Weekend. Free Fishing Days is a four-day celebration of fishing in Illinois when anglers can fish without purchasing a fishing license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp.
