At PACT, we focus on character-based education. Each month, we focus on one of our defined traits.

For September, the focus is on RESPECT. We define this as understanding that something is good, valuable, and important and should be treated in an appropriate way.

Happy Non-School Fri-yay!
PACT has a 4-day school week policy with roots in our history, and we have as many non-school Fridays as we can muster! Teachers use non-school Fridays for grading, professional development, and team meetings. Families use it to connect with other families, do homework, and probably sleep! Enjoy!

Making friends starts with just one word: "Yo!" 👋

This week, Dr. Bronson and Mr. Reinhard traded their offices for the classroom to read "Yo! Yes?" by Chris Raschka — a story about two kids from very different worlds who turn a hesitant "yo" into a lifelong friendship, one word at a time.

It's a simple story with a big lesson: you don't need a lot of words to reach out to someone new. Sometimes all it takes is showing up, saying hi, and being willing to say "yes."

Our Panthers are learning that friendship starts with courage — and a little bit of curiosity about the person next to you.

Elementary Principal Dr. Lara Bronson represented PACT at the national NCTE-NCTM Joint Conference in Charlotte, NC, presenting "Where Joy Meets Precision: Flexible Skill Grouping in Elementary Reading and Math."

Her session introduced educators from across the country — and around the world — to PACT's flexible skill model, an approach that challenges and supports every student through responsive, data-driven instruction tailored to their individual growth.

History in the making — meet some of our very first Online Campus Panthers!

Today wasn't just the first day of school — it was the first day of a brand new chapter for PACT. From kitchen tables to cozy home desks, this pioneering group of Online Panthers logged on and officially became the founding class of PACT's Online Campus. 🐾

Years from now, they'll be able to say they were there on day one — helping build something new, together, from wherever they call home.

Brooklyn brings a rich background in theatre education, most recently serving as Theatre Teacher & Department Director at Robbinsdale Area Schools and Sartell Middle School.

Brooklyn's vision for our Theatre Department is simple and beautiful: "a space that's inclusive and always growing, where the loud are heard, the quiet are noticed, and every student finds a home."

🐾 The Panthers are back at the Secondary Campus! The first day of school is officially in the books.

From kickball on the field to assemblies in the gym and auditorium, our secondary Panthers brought the energy right from the start!

Students got the rundown on what makes PACT tick — expectations, spirit, and what it means to be part of the Pride — before diving into locker assignments, schedules, and reconnecting with friends (and making new ones).

Huge shoutout to our incredible staff for making the first day feel like a celebration. This is going to be a great year.

🎒 First Day of School at PACT Elementary Campus!

The buses rolled in, the backpacks were bursting, and the smiles said it all — our Panthers are back and ready to unleash the pride! 🖤🐾❤️

From nervous first steps through the gate to settling in with new friends, new teachers, and new adventures, today was full of JOY! Huge thanks to our amazing staff, who greeted every single student with a wave and a warm welcome; our School Patrol, keeping everyone safe as they crossed the lot; and the families who walked their kiddos in for such a special morning.

Here's to an incredible year of growth, learning, and Panther Pride!
