Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area is a California State Park situated at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, 20 miles east of downtown Sacramento and three miles south of U.S. 50. As a user of the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division’s pages you may express your views, comments, ideas, insights, and criticisms about the California St

ate Parks and the OHMVR Division. At the same time, you should show courtesy and respect to others and must not use the wall to abuse others, expose others to offensive or inappropriate content, or for any unlawful purpose. How do you ride responsibly? This weekend three first time riders made the responsible choice by signing up for the free and public DirtBike School! Over the course of a day the riders learned basic dirt bike techniques and trail etiquette to serve as a solid foundation for future growth.
