Heavenly Father, though I grumble a little about it, I praise You for life's disappointments because they show me what matters most and guiding me to You, the Source of all hope.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for my home, may it always be a place of refuge and refreshment, happiness and health. Help me remember that no matter what I have or don’t have, there are others in greater need. Guide me in ways I can help them.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for the ebb and flow of nature, the rising and setting sun, the growth of spring, the peaceful, sparse winter--each is a blessed reminder that life is filled with change and every moment serves a purpose in Your plan.

Dear Lord, thank You for weekends. How precious and delightful they are—a perfect opportunity to enjoy the fruit of my labor! I praise You for making a time for everything and helping me use this time to rest and recharge.
