SAVE THE DATE: Valhalla is opening its doors on Wednesday, September 2nd to welcome parents/guardians to PARENT NIGHT!

The evening will begin with presentations in the Thunderdome at 5:00pm.
At 5:30pm, the campus will be open - walk through the halls of Valhalla at your leisure. You can visit your student’s classrooms, meet your counselor, or visit an informational table in the Student Center.

Wear your vibrant orange and sparkling white as we welcome the Class of 2030 into the halls of Valhalla at our annual Odin’s Procession.

Ceremony takes place on the East Lawn at 11:02am! We kindly ask parents/observers to watch from the edge of the East Lawn.

Valhalla is excited to welcome Jake Smith as our new Education Specialist, supporting students with Extensive Support Needs.

Jake has spent the past three years with GUHSD, serving as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Extensive Support Needs classrooms across several school sites. This year, he steps into a permanent role as an ESN Teacher here at Valhalla.

Jake holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from San Diego State University, and brings a genuine love of history, culture, and community into his work with students. He's passionate about connecting with each learner as an individual and finding creative ways to make education more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every student.

Valhalla is grateful to have Jake join our special education team, and we look forward to welcoming him to the Norsemen family. Welcome to the Orange Nation, Jake!
