At approximately 345pm today (7/18/26) the Randolph Fire Dept was dispatched to 105 Crescent circle in Randolph for report of activated fire alarm with reports of smoke. Crews quickly arrived and found heavy smoke and fire in the attic space of townhouse style apartments above unit 105. They deployed several hose lines to extinguish the fire and were able to keep the fire to the attic space of the original fire area. Due to weather and attached style homes, the incident was escalated to a 3 alarm bring resources from our neighboring departments including Roxbury, Netcong, Picatinny Arsenal, chester, Mendham Twp, Morris County OEM, Randolph Rescue Squad. The fire was brought under control in approx 45mins.
No reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
