🏫 Join us at the library on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30 PM as we welcome our second speaker in our series, David Pihlblad. David will take you on a tour starting with Randolph's one-room schoolhouses and continuing through the formation of Randolph Central School District. With David's interactive map, you'll visit each of the old district schools. His presentation will also include the School Street building and Chamberlain Institute. Scrapbooks, photos, and other resources from the Library's Local History Collection will also be on display.
🧑🏫 David currently teaches 9th grade Global History at RCS, as well as engaging elective courses such as History of Randolph and History Through Film. Additionally, David teaches a US History elective through a partnership with JCC allowing students to earn college credits before leaving high school. David’s lifelong connection to the area, his enthusiasm for education and his passion for history make him a valued teacher, coach and community member. We hope that you will join us as we reflect on the history of our school and marvel at what the future may bring.
