Memorial Day 2026; a day to honor and a day to remember those who have passed away while serving in our countries armed services.

Although Memorial Day falls once a year on the calendar, the remembrance of those lost defending our country is not limited to one day; we remember these men and women everyday.

Our officers were honored to participate in the Town of Randolph Memorial Day Ceremony today. This last week, we were also honored to assist in placing flags on the gravestones of those we have lost.

As you go about your day, please remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, as they deserve the highest level of respect.

As always, we are here if you need us.

As we finish up this week, we would like to recognize National Public Works Week 2026.

The men and women of the Randolph Police Department would like to thank the Randolph DPW for all they do. On a daily basis, our officers work and collaborate with members of the DPW on town projects, matters of public safety, and community partnerships that make us all stronger.

From repairing roads, to addressing water leaks, flooding, snow removal, and for keeping our town looking beautiful, the DPW truly does it all!

We are fortunate to have such a great group working in our town!

As always, we are here if you need us.

As we come to the end of National Police Week, we would like to remembers the tens of thousands of law enforcement officers in the United States who have made the ultimate sacrifice during the performance of their duties. The men and women of the Randolph Police Department work tirelessly to represent the values each of the officers listed on the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall represented.

The Randolph Police Department would like to specifically remember Officer Gerard Dufresne, who made the ultimate sacrifice on November 19th, 1975.

We would also like to remember our officers who have passed away, either from work related injuries, or as active members of service:

Officer Jack Walsh
Officer John Sullivan
Officer Alfred Handy
Officer Michael Beal
Lieutenant Jeffrey Chaplin
Sergeant Scott Sherman

As a department, we will never forget the sacrifice each Officer has made and we strive to honor their legacies on a daily basis.

As always, we are here if you need us.
