First day of school? The Class of 2027 knows how to start things off right!

Before the school day got underway, our seniors gathered for a Senior Sunrise. They cooked breakfast together—including bacon and eggs—brought treats to share, played music, and enjoyed a little friendly competition with some yard games.

A great morning spent together and a fun way to officially kick off their last year at Random Lake High School.

Come join us for our 9th Annual Color Run, sponsored by JOLLY GOOD and put on by Friends of Random Lake Kids.

Check-in starts at 5:30 PM, and the run/walk starts at 6:00 PM. It’s a fun 2-mile course that the whole family can enjoy!

After the run, stick around for some Jolly Good, food truck goodies, and a glow party!

We are still riding the high from yesterday’s visit!

Of course, no trip to Random Lake School District is complete without a visit to the Cedar Valley Cheese Store… and maybe some ice cream, too! 🍦🧀😉 We’re glad Dr. Jill Underly, got the full Random Lake experience!

🌟 Building Strong Community Connections at Random Lake! 🌟

We were honored to welcome Dr. Jill Underly, WI State Superintendent to Random Lake today as we kicked off the 2026-27 school year!

Dr. Underly joined our staff to highlight how our PreK-12 Portrait of a Leader directly aligns with Wisconsin’s new statewide Portrait of a Graduate initiative. Both efforts focus on preparing our students not just for tests, but for real life—equipping them with essential skills like critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration, and strong community roots.

One of our core values at RL is "Making Strong Community Connections," and we are thrilled to lead the way in showing how real-world experiences prepare our kids for college, careers, service, and beyond.

Thank you, Dr. Underly, for celebrating our staff, our students, and our community's vision for the future! 🎓 Dynamic pathways start right here in Random Lake.

The RL Rams Basketball Club registration for boys and girls entering grades 3-6 is now open for the 2026-2027 Season! 🏀

If anyone in 7th/8th grade wants to sign up, please send us an email. K-2nd graders should watch for a signup coming this fall.

The Random Lake Basketball Club plays basketball games on Saturdays with 1-2 practices during the week.
Registration fee-$100/player
Volunteer fee-$150/player
If 4+ hours of volunteer work is completed on dates where RL hosts games, then the volunteer fee is returned. The Volunteer Fee is refunded approximately 1 month after the completion of the boys’ season.
