REGISTER YOUR PARADE ENTRY TODAY!

The Village of Rantoul is now accepting registrations for the 2026 Rantoul 4th of July Parade!

Whether you're representing a business, organization, school, church, club, sports team, or community group, we'd love to have you join this year's celebration!

Registration Deadline:
Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM

Participant Check-In:
Beginning at 8:00 AM at Maplewood Park (North Maplewood). Parade staff will check in your entry and es**rt you to your assigned position in the lineup.

Start Time: 9:30 AM

Parade Route:
Starts on Maplewood Drive and ends at Wabash Park

*** SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE ***

The Village of Rantoul Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, beginning at 6:00 PM, to discuss and vote on the Siting Application submitted by Area Wide.

Please note that the Siting Application will ONLY be discussed by the Board during this Special Meeting. It will not appear on the agenda for the Study Session on June 2 or the Regular Board Meeting on June 9.

Additional information, including Findings of Fact and public records related to the Siting Application, will be posted on the Village website at https://myrantoul.com/ as they become available prior to the Special Meeting.

June at the Hap Parker Family Aquatic Center!

>>> Morning Lap Swim will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 6:30am - 7:30am for adult season pass holders.
>>> Afternoon Lap Swim will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 12pm - 1pm for adult season pass holders.
>>> Swim Lesson times are provided at the time of registration.
>>> Family Night is held on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm. Up to two children get in free with a paying adult.
>>> Water Aerobics will be held Monday through Saturday. A Forum Fitness Center membership also grants you access to these classes.

Updates will be posted when weather/schedule changes occur. Regular pool hours are 1pm to 7pm every day of the week. We hope to see you at the pool! ☀️

*** Boil Order Lifted – Affected Residences Will Be Notified ***

The boil order previously affecting a small area of residential homes in Rantoul has now been lifted.

✅ Water service in the affected area is safe to resume for normal use, including drinking, cooking, and bathing.

✅ A door hanger will be placed at all affected residences to notify residents that the boil order has ended.

Thank you to our residents for your patience and cooperation while crews worked to resolve the issue. The Village remains committed to providing safe, reliable water service to our community.

*** Boil Order Notice – Limited Residential Area Only ***

A boil order is currently in effect for a small area of residential homes in Rantoul. This is not a widespread issue, and no businesses have been affected.

✅ All affected residences have already been notified with a door hanger placed directly at their home.

✅ Once the boil order is lifted, those same residences will be notified again with an updated door hanger.

The Village is working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation.
