🚫 NOTICE: REMINDER OF A TEMPORARY CLOSURE 🚫
The Fitzgerald remote site will be CLOSED June 2nd - June 9th to allow for additional parking during the Black Hills Veteran's Classic Baseball Tournament.
Our Collections team will begin removing containers tomorrow morning.
In February, the City Council approved the request from the Rapid City Sports Commission to remove the yard waste and recycling containers from the Fitzgerald Stadium remote site.
There will be NO containers at Fitzgerald Stadium starting tomorrow, June 2nd through June 9th.
Please use the Nickel St location at 1117 Nickel St or hold onto the material until the containers return. The Landfill remote site will also be open!

It's YOUR week for recycling collection! Recycling will still be picked up on your regular collection day.
Starting May 4th, recycling pickup went to an every other week collection.
If you are a Tuesday or Thursday collection, you will be collected next week!

If you want to sign up for the curbside yard waste service, it's $15/month.
No extra fees.

Once you sign up, you are committing to the end of November!

♻️ There will be no garbage or recycling collection today and the landfill is closed.
📆 Collections will be adjusted this week
👉 (Monday moves to Tuesday, Tuesday through Friday are normal, but leave out until collected)
