🚨 ENDANGERED MISSING ADVISORY 🚨

The DCI and Rapid City Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 9-week-old Melinko Ivan Bagola.

Melinko was last confirmed to have been seen in mid-April 2026 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Authorities are currently unable to locate him.

Melinko is believed to have last been in the care of one of his parents, Tyler Slow Bear or Denitra Bagola. Authorities are aware of the parents’ current location; however, Melinko’s whereabouts remain unknown.

If you have seen Melinko Bagola or have any information regarding his location, please call 605-773-3536 IMMEDIATELY.

⚠️ Do NOT attempt to rescue or intervene yourself. Contact law enforcement immediately.

Update: The evacuation order has been lifted and the gas line has been clamped. Residents can check with on site MDU crews upon returning as they work to restore the gas.

Country Road West is CLOSED at Haines Ave due to an ongoing gas leak incident.

Incident Details: Crews were dispatched just before 3:00 p.m. after a 2-inch gas line was struck. Elevated gas readings have reached explosive limits in the area. Evacuations have been initiated as a precaution.

Response: MDU is on scene and actively working to mitigate the gas leak.

Please continue to avoid the area until further notice.
