Hekate, of Greek mythology, is a goddess of the crossroads, magic, and the moon. She is also a goddess of the underworld, so one would assume she'd be pretty comfortable around skeletons and fossil replicas like Lane the triceratops.

Her story is told in verse in this month's Chapter Chat book club selection, Hekate by Nikita Gill. If you've read it and would like to join our discussion, we will meet at 6PM on Thursday, June 25.

Updates are coming to the library! Starting this Friday, we will begin the first phase of our main floor re-imagination project, to include a new makerspace and recording room, and ADA-compliant restrooms.

-The first step will be to build the new Makerspace and recording room.

-After the new Makerspace is occupied, we will begin construction on the ADA-compliant restrooms, which will be located in the current Makerspace area.

While we will do our best to minimize disruptions, please be prepared for some unavoidable noise and mess during the renovation process!
