11/11/2022

The family of Josh Haugen presented a check to our Water Rescue Team today from a memorial fundraiser that was held this summer to raise awareness on water safety. In June of 1999, 17-year old Joshua R. Haugen, lost his life to a jet ski accident at Pactola Reservoir. One year later, in August of 2000, the Rapid City/Pennington County Water Rescue Team recovered his body. The family has been very grateful for the work that they do, that they continue to support the team every year. Thank you Haugen family for your support, it means a lot to us.
