ATTENTION...PLEASE READ

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY....

If you reside in the city limits of Ratliff City or within the fire and ems response area and are faced with a fire or medical emergency, please call 911. As first responders, fire and ems, we appreciate that you want to call us as individuals first, but when you call an individual and they aren't available (i.e..family time, vacation, out of town) VALUABLE time is wasted when you do that. If you see an emergency and want to report it, please call 911. Please do not call town hall before calling 911. They welcome heads up calls AFTER you place the 911 calls first.

If you live within the city limits of Ratliff City and are faced with a police emergency, please call 911. If you reside outside of city limits and face a police emergency, please call 911. Same as above, if you call an officer personally and they aren't available or the emergency is outside our city limits, VALUABLE time is wasted in getting the right person there in the right amount of time.

We are only reminding the community of this because when individuals are called instead of dispatch...

1. Calls may not be answered due to the individual not being available.

2. Individual may be out of town or unavailable.

3. Dispatch times are longer therefore the emergency response time is longer.

We appreciate each and everyone of our citizens and community members and our supporters.

Remember, if you see something, say something. And CALL 911.

HUGE THANK YOU!!!!

Just wanted to give a huge thanks to everyone who donated and helped with the fundraiser today for the Ratliff City FD and the Healdton Masonic Lodge #23. It was a huge success. Thank you to McAlisters Deli-Chickasha for donating the tea and lemonade, to all the local businesses for their donations and support, to the FD members and their wives and families who made desserts and helped serve and deliver meals, the Masonic Lodge for providing and cooking the amazing food and most of all, the community and our supporters who came in and enjoyed some amazing lunch and donated to two great organizations. We couldn't do what we do without your support. To you all....WE THANK YOU!!!

Due to the increased rain chances, we have made the hard decision to postpone the Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. We will make plans to come up with another event for the kids in the park soon so be on the look out for details.

THANK YOU CARTER COUNTY for the renewal of the fire tax! This will help us to continue to get the right stuff needed to continue to serve our communities and our people the way we want and need too. Every firefighter on this department and in this county sends our appreciation. Thank you again. ❤️

Please please please go vote YES on June 18th for the county fire tax to continue. This is not a new tax that we are asking for. Every fire department in Carter County benefits from this tax that is already in place. It has allowed us to buy much needed equipment and supplies that we use to provide for the communities we serve. Without this tax, most of the fire departments will not be able to afford to get the things we need to keep our firefighters safe and serve our communities the way we want. Please, if you have any questions, reach out. We'd be happy to talk to (and even show) anyone about the tax and the things we have purchased in the last 4 years with this tax. Please help us to continue to help you.
